September 12, 2019 | Happy Thursday!

Risen Hope Ministries | Happy Thursday Inspiration with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone...and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you! I truly pray that your day is off to a good start...and that you will always know that God is there for you...no matter what you face!
Well...this morning seems to be a continuation from last night, with a pain in my feet and legs that just doesn't seem to want to go away. In fact, it was so bad last night, that I went to bed earlier. We don't always understand why these moments happen; but what comfort...knowing that God is there to talk to...and give every need to.
This morning, as I was talking with God...He reminded me of a quote that I have kept in my study Bible for many years...and it goes like this... "Safety is not found in the absence of danger...but it's found in the presence of God." In other words...we can still be going through these times of pain and heartache...for a reason that God only knows; but still we can experience His loving and sustaining hand of mercy upon us. These difficult times can make us feel as if we are being moved to another realm...one that lies low, within the depth of our being; but one thing we must remember...God has control over it all.
One of my favorite readings in the Bible; is the first chapter of Job. Satan and God are having a conversation about Job...and at the end of that conversation, God allows Satan to afflict Job...but two things are also happening here. First...God only allows Satan to go so far with the affliction. In other words; Satan is not allowed to destroy Job. Second...even though Satan is feeling victorious over the situation...God has plans and in the end, He does use this long bout of affliction to better Job and bless him...so you see; God doesn't allow these moments into our lives...just to watch us suffer...but He allows them to strengthen us and draw us closer, into something better; that is truly blessed by Him...so never give up.
You too, may be facing something in your life today; that seems so out of control. The situation may be attempting to tell you; that these moments will never turn around for something good. May I encourage you, to turn your thoughts away from what the circumstance is attempting to convince you of...to focus on a God, who has a very special plan for your life...and once it's complete...you will come to see the reasons why He allowed the affliction to begin with.
Today, as we continue to walk through our day...I pray for strength...and I pray that we all will let go of the circumstance...to lean on a God, who can truly walk us out of these difficult moments!
Have a great Thursday...take care and I will hope to be with you again this evening!
Many blessings on your day!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
Diane
