Hello everyone...and a very "Happy Saturday" to you all! I truly pray that your day is off to a good start...and that you will experience the presence of God, above all else in your life today!
How many times has a circumstance attempted to make us believe that God doesn't love us anymore? I know that when I am overwhelmed by pain or some deep form of heartache; that it can be easy to fall prey to the thought that God has not only abandoned me...but also has stopped loving me too...and that is only because the severity of the circumstance is dictating those thoughts. One thing that God has shown me over time; is that He truly was the first one to love us, otherwise He wouldn't have created us. Do you realize that God could not have created us, unless He knew that He could love us first? So many times, we feel that we were the first to love Him...just by coming to Him and accepting salvation; but long before those moments took place, God has loved us with an everlasting love, which is a great reminder that He cannot abandoned those that He has created through love. You know...there are moments when the pain in my body can be so out of control; that thoughts of being alone...in a world of my own, attempt to take me down. We must remember that thoughts such as these are never from God...but from the one (Satan), who longs to enhance the affliction, as a means of keeping us distant from God. I think that if we could use these hard times to draw closer to God, rather than believing such a deceptive lie; then there would be peace, in the midst of these storms we face. No matter what you are facing right now...let this be an opportunity, for you to draw closer to a God, who has truly loved you, since the very day He created you...and one thing I know...when we hold to these truths; then our hearts will always be set free from deception...Amen!! Today, I pray that you will allow the moments you experience in this day, to draw you closer to the One, who has promised to never abandon you in the storm; but rather, to love and care for you, with a heart that has loved you since the very beginning! Have a great Saturday...take care and I will hope to be with you again this evening! Many...many blessings on your day! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
