Hello everyone...and a very happy and blessed Sunday to you! Praise God, for this new day He has blessed us with...a day, where our yesterdays are behind us...that we may experience something brand new!
As I was reading our verse for the day, in Psalm 55:22; there is one thing that came to my thoughts, as I was meditating on each word...and that is that even though God may not always take away our circumstance instantly...He does have the power to sustain us and hold us high above the pit of destruction that awaits us below...that is, if we are first willing to hand over every burden to Him.
How many times have we questioned God, as to why He hasn't helped us? It seems like the circumstance is only gaining strength, rather than weakening. Why isn't He listening...and why isn't He making the way a little easier?
I remember a time, when I would beg and beg for God's help. After so many times, of seeing the circumstance increase with strength, I began to think that God had abandoned me...when all along, I was doing something wrong. The thing that I found myself doing, was begging for His help...but immediately after doing so; I would run back to the wallowing hole and try to stand tough on my own. Do we realize that when we do this; that we have allowed the power of our prayers to fall powerless to the ground?
If we are ever going to completely give everything to God; then we must give it to Him...and leave it there. There is one thing that eventually did help me to see this…and that was to visualize a box before me. As this box sat there before me...I took every worry...thought and care and placed them in the box...then I put the lid on the box and handed it all over to God. As I walked away...I left it in His lap, while I waited on Him to work with each need...and that is when I began to see a powerful God at work within my life.
No matter what you may be facing right now...don't cling to these moments, as if they are a security blanket; but rather, box them up and give them over to a God, who is greater than these difficult times; then sit back and watch Him begin to work, while anticipating His best.
As we walk through this day...we may face unexpected challenges and struggles that we never planned on walking through. May I encourage you to stop and truly give it all over to God...and in exchange, I know that He will help and sustain you through it all, until every need has been met...praise God!
Today, I truly pray that you will experience the depth of God's presence in your life; that these moments will become a reminder to you; that God is always there to help you, during an hour of need!
Have a great Sunday...take good care and I will hope to be with you again this evening!
Many...many blessings on your day!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
