Hello everyone...and a "Happy Monday" to you all! Here we go...another new week...and another new day! As you begin your journey through another week, I pray that you will come to experience the loving compassionate mercy that God has for you...a love...mercy and compassion that never fails!
You know...we can be facing some difficult times in our lives and before we know it...a dark cloud moves in and covers up the sun that once shown so brightly within us. These darkened moments can even attempt to convince us that we will be consumed within the storm that is brewing around us; but I have come to truly see; that no matter what we think or feel...God is still there...controlling these difficult moments that enter our lives. Just because we can't feel the sunshine of His presence; doesn't mean that His presence isn't there...for even though the clouds seem to be placing Him in the background of our lives...He's still there...and one thing I know for sure; is that it's truly of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed within these moments of darkness...otherwise, I wouldn't be writing to you today.
Throughout my life, I have walked through some very dark storms. In fact, the dark clouds felt as if I would never experience the sunshine of God's presence again. Even though I felt that way...and even though the circumstance attempted to make me believe this untruth and deceptive lie...God showed me in the end; that His mercies do become new...and even stronger than before.
I truly believe that the storms stick around because we have come to believe in them and accept them; rather than walking beyond them...to search for the light of God's presence. I used to have a saying; that I would repeat quite often and it goes like this... "Whatever we believe...we receive." May I encourage you today, to remove your thoughts away from the storm...and focus on verses such as this one in Lamentations 3:22-24...for when we truly take hold of the truth that God has given us in His word; then the deception that is attempting to swerve us in another direction, will come to a halt.
Remember one thing today...God loves you...and no matter what you walk through...He will sustain and keep you close to Him through it all! As you continue to walk through this day, I pray that you will reflect on who God truly is...a loving and compassionate God...One whose mercies are new everyday...Praise Him!!
Today, I pray that your day will be truly blessed from above! Take care and I will hope to be with you again this evening! God bless!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
