Hello everyone...and a "Happy Wednesday" to you all! I hope that your day is going well...and that you will truly experience the perfect peace of God, as you walk through each moment and hour of your day!
This morning, as I'm sitting here in my office...looking out to a beautiful late summers day; God is taking my thoughts back to a time, when my husband and I had a neighbor...who was very difficult to get along with. Many times, I felt as though he was trying to find fault with us...when there was no fault to begin with.
One summer...I had felt led by God to sit outside...where we had resided at the time and write a book. It wasn't always easy for me to be out there...because this man lived just behind us. One day, as I sat and prepared to write...I said a prayer that went like this... "Lord, help me to love that man...no matter what." I would say that within a half hour or so...I began to hear someone call my name...and as I looked around me...here stood this man, with a smile on his face...wishing me a nice day. From there...he came to know the Lord and now he's serving God.
You know...I came to see that day; that when we do what's right and leave everything with God; that even our worst enemies are brought out of the hatred and anger that once resided within their heart; to be at peace with God.
No matter what we face...we need to let go of it...and not allow anger to fester up deep within the heart; because just as I came to see that day...God can only work, when we are willing to walk away and leave it all within His mighty hands.
Today, you may be struggling with a family member...a friend or even a co-worker. May I encourage you to let go of them and place them into the loving and powerful hands of God...where He can work in ways that we cannot even begin to work.
As you walk through your day...just know that God is there to bring peace into your life...and into the lives of others that surround you...but first, we must be willing to let Him do the work!
Have a great Wednesday...and may God's presence be felt all throughout the day, as you walk side by side with Him! Take care and I will hope to be with you again this evening!
Many...many blessings on your day!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
