Good evening everyone! I truly hope that you had a good day! You know...sometimes I get so caught up in how busy Thursday can be...that I forget that Friday is even busier...that is, until I begin my work on Friday...and oh, what a reminder!
Today was clean the home and work on the ministry day...and I'll tell you...my mind really longs to clean and move a few things here and there within the room...as I love to decorate...but it's the final results of how I feel later; that makes me want to avoid it...lol!
As I was reading our Bible verse for tonight, from Psalm 73:26...I thought to myself...I can relate to this verse tonight; because my heart and flesh seem to be failing me, after this long day of work...but oh what a great reminder; that the Lord is the strength of our hearts...and our portion forever. In other words...when our strength fails us...His strength will kick into overdrive...and when we need a helping hand, to get us through whatever we're facing at the time...He truly is our portion and everything we could ever need.
Tonight...you may be finding it difficult to relax after your day. Maybe every ounce of strength is gone...and you're already wondering how you are going to make it tomorrow. Let me encourage you, by saying that God is there for you...and I truly believe that when we rest in Him...He is also there to replenish what has been lost...to give us a new strength.
As you rest for the night...I pray that you won't find the need to focus on the things of tomorrow; but that you will be able to have a settled feeling in your mind and in your heart; that God will be everything...for everything you need. Remember...keep your thoughts on what God is about to do...and don't go walking down the path of worry, doubt and fear tonight...for that will only make you weaker and keep you from the rest you need.
I hope that you will truly have a good night of rest...and I pray that God will truly bless and keep you throughout this night! See ya tomorrow...God bless!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
