Hello everyone...and a very happy and blessed Sunday to you! I truly hope and pray that as we walk through this brand new day together; that we will not only feel the presence of God...but truly experience all He longs to do within our lives...Amen!!
As I have been reading and rereading this Bible verse today, in James 1:12...there was one thought that entered my mind...and that is to always remember that it's Satan who tempts us and attempts to afflict us. Sometimes, I hear people say that they don't understand why God is afflicting them. One thing we need to ask ourselves today is this...how can a perfect...good and loving God do evil in this way? We must first give credit, to the one who is behind all these difficult moments of suffering...and that is Satan. God may allow these moments in our lives; but I have come to truly see that He only does this, when He has a plan to use them for our good.
Once we come to realize this...then we must allow God's strength to keep us standing and pressing on. Look at it this way...as Christians, we are on a path that is taking us in heaven's direction. Yes...there will be obstacles to overcome...because Satan will also be there...trying to keep us from God and heaven; but the one who presses on and never gives up...will be the one... who in the end, will receive the crown of life...and all they did strive for in this life.
No matter how tough the path may seem...and no matter how tempting it may be to quit and give up...don't; because these moments will only cause you to lose out, on all that God longs to reward you with in the end.
As we walk through this brand new day...I pray that we will receive a strength from God; that will help us to override these moments of temptation...that we may continue to press on and aim our ourselves in the direction of heaven...AMEN!!
Today, I truly hope and pray that you will have a very blessed day! Remember one thing as we close...don't look to the left or the right...but continue to look straight ahead; that you may always find the strength through God to press on!
Have a very blessed day...take care and I will hope to see you again this evening!
