Good evening everyone! I truly hope that you had a nice Saturday! Mine was spent with a few things to do around the house...and a couple of relaxing hours around the fireplace...yes, the fireplace. Today, the temperature only reached the upper 30's and I actually saw our first snow...even though it didn't stick to the ground. It seemed so strange...seeing green leaves still on the maple trees, while it was snowing outside. This is one moment in my day; that became a reminder to me, as to how amazing our God truly is!
This morning, as I was getting around for my day...a song came to my mind, which led me to this verse in Deuteronomy 1:31...and as I read it several times; it reminded me of the moments that God had truly carried me through some tough times. There was one time in my life, when I felt lost within a wilderness of despair. It seemed that no matter how hard I tried to get out of this wilderness...I only ended up at the place, from which I first began. Little did I know at the time; that all my efforts were only leading me through needless moments of suffering...and no way out. It was at a time, when I fell to the ground emotionally and began to realize that my way wasn't going to work...and that is when I admitted that to God and asked Him to help me. As I let go completely to the reigns of my life and handed everything over to God...that is when He took hold of a lady, who was emotionally exhausted...and He carried her, to the place that she had been trying to reach on her own for so long.
No matter what you are facing right now...may I encourage you to not try it alone; for you will only end up like me...going in circles, with no direction in life. Instead of trying it alone, why not ask a good Friend to join you...One who will carry you through the hard and difficult times, until you have reached your destination.
As we prepare to end another day, my prayer is that we all will truly fall into the arms of Jesus...the One who out of love, will lift us high above the difficult moments, while carrying us to the place, in which He longs for us to be...a place where we remain close to Him and distant from despair.
Have a good night...and may God truly bless your night with peace and sweet rest! See ya tomorrow!
Many...many blessings on your night!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
