Good evening everyone…and how was your Sunday? I’ve had a great day with God…and some good rest; so now, I thought I’d stop by and share some thoughts with you; that God has laid upon my heart, as we prepare to begin another new week.
You know…there are days, when I wonder if I’m giving my all for God. As I look back on the past 17 years of ministry work…I think on times, when I seemed to have done so much more, than what I’m doing right now. As I was thinking on this today…one thing that God spoke to my heart about, was that every day…month or year, will never be the same…and that it doesn’t matter how much or how little we do for God…for all that matters; is that we are doing just what we should for the time. This evening…God was taking me back to an article I wrote some years back, for a Christian magazine…and a little of it goes like this… “Through my weakness, God has given me the joy of becoming a published author. I now work with many who are going through loneliness, chronic illnesses, and pain. When I reach out to help another I feel His strength in me, instead of the old weakness that used to be there. God has a plan for your life too. Sometimes it’s hard to see beyond the circumstances. It doesn’t matter whether you are laid up in bed, a wheelchair, or maybe just having a rough day. Let Him show you His plan for your life. “Disabled” doesn’t mean “not able” in God’s vocabulary. He has great plans to use your gifts. You never know when your life may change the life of another too. Let Him make you strong through your weakness.” I think that sometimes, we attempt to just give up on life because it seems as if life has taken over in a bad way…and these moments can make us feel, as if there is no purpose for living. Maybe tomorrow, you will be getting up to the same old problem that you’ve been experiencing, for quite some time…or maybe your health has put you in a place, where you feel as if there is no reason to go on. May I encourage you…through my own struggles; to seek God…and what He longs to do, through these difficult times in your life. One thing I know…when we allow God to use the difficult moments…no matter how big or small; then first, we are no longer allowing the problem to take over and abuse us…and second, we begin to feel a purpose for living. As you wake up tomorrow, to a brand new day…and a brand new week, I pray that God will help you to see a reason to go on…no matter what you may be facing right now. You know…sometimes, when we can just share a smile with another person in need; then these difficult times we face, now begin to serve a real purpose…one that lets the world experience Jesus, while showing Satan that his tactics just can’t prevail. Well…tonight, I may not feel my very best…but I am determined to wake up, with a smile on my face…while seeking God with all my heart, as to how He can use these difficult times in my life for Him. I hope you will do the same. Tonight, I truly pray that you will have a good night of rest…and that your tomorrow, will become a day of hope for you…one that allows you to experience Jesus, while letting the world around you experience Him too! Have a good night of rest…and God bless! See ya tomorrow! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
