Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you! I pray that your day is going well…and that you will truly experience God, above everything else in your day!
Last night…before going to sleep, I was getting ready to read a couple verses in the Bible…but before that even happened; God began to lead me to a small journal that I was keeping at one time…one, where God and I were conversing heart to heart.
As I began to read the words that God had given me personally; I began to see one thing…and that was how He was letting me know in advance; that I may face some difficult times ahead, which I now am…but to stay strong in Him.
This morning, while thinking on this; God led me to a couple Bible verses in Matthew 6:7-8…and we read… “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8) Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”
As I was reading and rereading these verses…everything began to tie in together from last night. Just think…God already knows about everything that enters…or will even enter our lives, before we speak His name. Some may say... “Well, if God already knows; then why can’t He stop it?” I may not always have the answers to questions like these; but one thing I can tell you from experience; is that even though He knows…He sometimes allows them to happen; but even though He may allow something, for a reason we don’t always understand…He is on top of it…and has complete control over what He allows.
As you already know…I have been facing some very, very hard times with my legs and feet…even to the place, where I find it difficult to walk. I may not fully understand, as to why God hasn’t healed me; but I have seen numerous times, as to how He allows these moments, to bring me more in sync with Him…to the place, where I can truly connect heart to heart with Him…and share words that stem from my own moments of affliction. In other words…He’s using my affliction, to help and encourage others.
The true test behind everything we face is this; are we willing to suffer for Christ’s sake and share in His sufferings? In I Peter 4:12-13, we read… “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13) but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
This life we live should never be about ourselves, but rather, it should reflect Christ…no matter what we face. One thing that I have come to see lately…is that no matter what God may be allowing within my life; He is making it easier to handle…and when we are open to Him, rather than the problem; then we will truly hear that still small voice, from His heart to ours…and it will not only speak peace; but it will guide us through these tumultuous times we’re facing…and that is one thing I can say for sure.
As we walk through this day…we may face unexpected problems…and we may wonder why God has allowed these moments into our lives. May I encourage you today, to not focus on where the problem is leading you; but rather, focus on where God is leading you through the problem…knowing in your heart; that no matter what He may allow…He will ALWAYS be there to sustain you, until He is ready to walk you out of these moments of despair.
Well…once more, it’s time to see what God has in store for me next, as I begin this brand new day. I pray that you will seek God also, with all your heart…and I pray even more…that as you seek Him; you will find the answers and hope you need, for whatever you may be facing today! See ya soon!
Have a great Thursday & God bless!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
