Hello everyone...and how are you doing today? This morning, as I've been looking out to a sunny day; I've been thinking on the true love that Jesus has shown us all in this world. You know...His words of love for us didn't just become words; but they went into action, as a true love was displayed through His death on the cross.
As I've been sitting here this morning...talking heart to heart with God; I began to talk on a few things pertaining to my life. It seems like this life has not only been a difficult road to walk down; but I have also lived with a lot of false promises of love...which I'm sure a lot of us have experienced from time to time. Anyways...as I began to focus on Jesus' sacrifice...I didn't just see in my minds eye, a man hanging on a cross; but I have come to see God's Son, as someone who had such great love for us; that He was willing to walk beyond pain, ridicule and the agony of the cross, to die for our sins. In other words...He didn't focus on every little thing that someone did to Him; but rather it was a love for us; that took Him way beyond those deep moments of suffering. As Christians, I wonder why we allow ourselves to become so caught up in the pain and the deep heartaches of life? I know we are just human; but we also have a powerful God living within us...One whose love didn't stop at the cross...but One, whose love lives on..deep within the heart. One thing I know for sure...love can hurt...and pain can bring us low; but I am so thankful that there is One I can run to and share these moments with...One whose love never wavers...but One, whose love continues to remain strong for us...no matter if we walk away or hurt Him. No matter what you're facing today...turn to Jesus...for He understands every broken moment...because He was broken too...and in a much greater way. Fall into His arms of love...tell Him all about it and let Him mend what's been broken in your life. Today, I thank God, for sending His only Son into this world; that we may not only be saved from sin...but that we could also gain a new friend...One who will go the distance for us...when others just don't care. PRAISE HIM...I love you Jesus!! Love your daughter... Diane Comments are closed.
