Good evening everyone! Tonight, I decided to stop by for a few minutes. Keith is helping with the dishes...and I'm sitting here in my office, with my feet up...trying to enjoy a beautiful evening. Tonight, the pain has been a little more out of control; so I thought that talking with you might help me to get my mind off of what I am going through right now.
You know...actually the morning went pretty good, with barely any pain; so sometimes it's not always easy to understand why something goes away...only to return again. I'll tell you though...I thank God so much, for a warm home and a comfy daybed to sit on. I guess that sometimes, we come to appreciate these things more, when life isn't always going well. Maybe that could be one of the reasons God allows us to go through these times...that we may not take life for granted so much.
Oh...by the way, I wanted to tell you that Keith and I had a wild turkey land in our front yard yesterday. I've never seen one close up; so that was something great for me! Also, I have had a beautiful dove hanging around the tree, near my office window. To be honest with you...I just wonder if God has sent me this beautiful peaceful bird, as a reminder that He is always with me. Anyways...it's been a interesting couple of days around here.
Tomorrow...the noise begins again, as the roofers return, to put the shingles on the roof. Like I said...we have the best landlords...and they have even supported this ministry a couple of times in the past. Yesterday, our landlord and his wife came over, as they were going to help my husband with something...so while she was here...she asked me what color I would like the house, as they will also be putting new vinyl siding on the house, in about a week...so we had fun with that too!
Today, as I looked out the window...I was thinking on how good God truly is. I may not always understand His ways; but He sure has a way of sustaining me, while blessing Keith and I.
Anyways...I think I'm going to go and rest...but it was sure nice visiting with you! Did you know that I pray for you every night? I may not know you personally; but I know that you are here for a reason...and I truly pray that you will find the hope you need at this time...for whatever you may be facing.
As we close our time together...I hope you will have a good night of rest...and I pray that God's loving presence will surround you with peace...and keep you safe. Until tomorrow...God bless!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
