Tuesday...Dec. 17, 2019 | Life is easier with God..

Good early evening everyone…I hope that your day has been going well! I just got back from my grocery shopping a bit ago…and now I’m resting my foot; so I thought I’d stop by and pay you a visit.
Boy am I glad to be home! One thing I can say; is that I have come to appreciate a lot of things that I have taken for granted in the past…like the warmth of a home…a comfortable place to sit and relax…but most of all…having God in my life, to help me every step of the way.
When I first got home…the legs were really starting to feel the pain, from the morning event at the store. As I began to thank God, for bringing me through that time in my day…I said to Him… “You never said that life would be easy did you; but you did promise to make it easier”…and that is so true. I may struggle to walk; but I have seen instances, including today; where He truly helped and made a way, when I needed that so much at the moment.
As I’ve been sitting here…thinking on all that God has brought me through today; He was taking me to a Bible verse in Isaiah 41:10, which says… “Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” This is exactly what God did for me today. First…He was my strength…then my help…and even more…He was there to uphold me, with His right hand of righteousness.
You know…last night, as I was talking with God before bed…He gave me a quick reminder, as to how these hard times aren’t meant to make our lives more difficult. Even though He allows them, for reasons we don’t always understand…He is there for us to lean on and sometimes, I feel as if He is allowing some of this pain…to truly see, if I will continue to lean on Him, rather than myself.
No matter how difficult it was to walk through the store…God helped us to get through the check out much quicker…and even the taxi showed up right away. See…even though God allows these moments…He also has a way of making it easier for us…that is, if we will only see it that way. Instead of focusing on how bad life can be…why not look for the moments, when the hand of God is at work…helping to make the way a little easier.
Well…tomorrow, I have more to do…and Thursday too; but as I saw the hand of God at work within my life today…I know that this same God will be there for me tomorrow and Thursday also. I don’t know about you…but I’m so thankful to have God in my life…especially during the difficult times. Instead of giving Satan what he’s looking for…through words of complaint…why not give God a word of praise and bring Satan…the one who afflicted you, to his knees…AMEN!!
Well…dinner was prepped yesterday; so I’m looking forward to an evening of rest. I truly hope that your evening is a good one too…and that you will have a great start to your Wednesday! Take care and I’ll see ya soon!
