Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all! I am so happy to be with you today…and I pray that your day will be its best…and that you will come to truly see…that with God in your day... life can be much better, especially during the difficult times of adversity…Amen!!
As we begin our time together today, I would like to start out, by asking you a question… “Do you truly believe that God has the ability to restore what has been broken in your life or are you viewing tragedy, as something that is permanent, while throwing in the towel and giving up? In Psalm 126:5-6, we read…“Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. (6) He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.”
Do we realize that the tears of adversity are actually watering our hearts, as God prepares us for new growth? When we view sadness and despair through our own eyes, our thoughts have a way of dictating total defeat but if we view these moments through a spiritual eye, we see that the difficult times become the seed that is watered through our tears…that we may discover new growth and the purpose that God has for these moments.
We must remember that our God can work in many ways, as He works to restore the things that crumble down around us. For example, who can mend a broken bone or who can cause new growth, when a plant has been pruned back? The problem we face is that we are too caught up in the circumstance; that we begin to believe what the circumstance is trying to tell us. Instead, we should be looking for the purpose and new growth that can take root from the problems we face.
You know…God never intended for us to remain in despair; otherwise that would make Him a defeated god. His plan is to keep us pressing on in life, while He uses the weaknesses in our lives, to produce the kind of growth that can not only help us but reach out to others too. We know that the life of a Christian isn’t going to always be easy; but when we face these difficult challenges, we need to allow God to use them, while we stand on the promise He’s made to us…that my God will never leave me or forsake me. I have found more and more within my own life; that it’s all about the way we react to the trials that come our way and when we can see them as an opportunity for new growth; then we will begin to see the purpose, for which God is allowing these moments to enter our lives.
We may be experiencing difficult days of pain and heartache; but joy will come in the morning and once we begin to experience God’s presence, as He enters our storm of adversity; we will discover the purpose and see the new growth, for which He allowed the trial to enter our lives. Just remember that God never allows anything to enter our lives, unless He first has a plan or purpose for it. When we can think on this, then we will always live with the hope that my God will see me through these difficult times.
You know…I may not fully understand the difficult moments you may be facing in your life right now; but I have learned through my own; that God is a God that can be trusted…a God who will never allow the difficult moments to even begin to enter our lives, unless He has a specific reason for it all…so trust Him…no matter what comes your way.
Well…time for me to head off to the grocery store and begin my day! I pray that you will truly feel and experience the love that God has…just for you, in this brand new day!
Take care everyone…have a great Tuesday…and we will talk soon!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
