Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all! What another great day the Lord hath given us…so let us lift our hearts up to Him today and praise His holy name…AMEN!!
You know…there have been times, when I sit and think on how God has truly helped me, during the hard and difficult times of life…and the other day a question came to my mind and it goes like this…”What takes us from a place of “I can’t”…to a place where we truly come to see that “we can?” It seems like every time a situation attempts to convince me that I can’t; I soon come to see that Jesus shows me how much I can.
I know that I have shared Isaiah 41:10 with you recently; but this has truly become one of my favorite Bible verses, so let’s read it together… “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
When I get up from my daybed in the office…barely able to walk at times, I’ve come to see that it’s God’s right hand of righteousness that’s wrapped around me…holding me to my feet. In other words, it’s Jesus who says to me… “Come on Diane…lean on Me and I will walk you through these difficult moments of your day.”
One thing I know for sure; is that it’s not me holding this body up but rather, it’s the One who has kept me suspended above many pits of despair. I’m finding more and more; that I don’t have to be healed, to experience this great and awesome power that comes from God…and as I was thinking on this last night, I came to see that God truly wants us all to see…through this writing; that He is not only there when the storm comes to an end…but He is also in the midst of the storm.
Another thing that God has taught me over time; is that we need to stop focusing on where the affliction has brought us…and start focusing on the One who is keeping us standing through it all. This alone will help us to see that God has control over everything that He has allowed within our lives.
Like I said…when I get up each day, it definitely is a challenge…as I sit on the edge of a bed…waiting for a muscle to kick in...that can keep me walking; but you know what…if I focused deeply on that every day, I would never find God in the midst of all I’m going through. Instead, I think that I would find myself imprisoned within those thoughts…just as I once did.
You know…it’s not always easy to understand God’s ways…and even why He doesn’t always answer our prayers; but one thing I can tell you…He’s there to help and sustain you, until that time comes, when He is ready to walk you into something brand new…so never give up.
As we close with the question that we first started with…I am now seeing more clearly; that we can get from a place of “I can’t”, to a place of “I can,” when we let God do it all. The things that stand before us may cause us to weaken…to the place where we can no longer make it on our own; but there is a God who longs so much to wrap His loving arms around us and steady us through life; but another question remains… “Are we willing to let Him help us…and truly come to see that His power can be as evident during the storm…as it is, when the storm comes to an end?”
Well…I have truly enjoyed another great writing…and I praise God for HIS words…words that can truly keep us free, from the bondage that Satan longs to keep us imprisoned in!
I truly hope that you will have a great Tuesday! Take care and I will hope to be with you soon!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
