Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all! As we continue to walk through this week together, my prayer is that we all will come to experience the light of God’s love…a love that never dims; but rather, grows brighter…especially during the darkest moments of life…Amen!!
You know…there can be times, when our circumstances make us feel unworthy of God. I guess that we tend to feel that we have to live up to certain standards and be this perfect Christian, for Christ to love and care for us; but one thing I have truly come to see within my own life; is that no matter the struggle or even the failures we seem to see ourselves as…God never lets go. I have a study Bible that has been greatly used over the past years. In fact…this Bible actually became a survival tool to me, as I went through long years of deep pain and heartache…and one of the Bible verses that has stuck with me is found in Isaiah 41:13 and we read… “I am holding you by your right hand…I, the Lord your God…and I say to you, “Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you.” You know…I think we all need a reminder from time to time; that God is a God that takes hold of us and never let’s go. In my life personally, I have had people make promises to never hurt me; but in the end, they just walk away. In fact…this morning, I was thinking on all the people in my life that never seemed to care at one time or another. I guess they grew tired, of all that I was already tired of going through myself; that they just couldn’t keep their word and stick around and care. One thing that has also crossed my mind today; is how we can see God’s love, in the same way we view a worldly so-called love. After living with false promises, while feeling tossed to the side; we can also wonder if God feels the same way about us to. It’s amazing how Satan not only afflicts us; but also, on how he uses these discouraging moments to make us feel unworthy of everyone around us, including God. At a time, when I have felt down and out…and at a time, when I have felt tossed to the side; I have come to see and experience a God who never let’s go…for He is not only holding us tightly by the hand; but He is here to help. When Satan is attempting to deceive us and make us feel as if God has deserted us…God is still there. The thing we need to do; is to get away from the deceptive feelings and thoughts that only attempt to bring us down to nothing…and reconnect with God, in a quiet and peaceful setting. In other words…a place, where it’s only God and us…a place, where He can speak truth and healing to our hurting hearts and souls. I have truly come to see that once we are willing to let go of the hand of deception and reach out for the only One who can help and restore us, to the place where we should be in life…then and only then, will we experience a love that far outweighs any so-called worldly love. Today…maybe you are not only hurting, due to a circumstance; but maybe you are also experiencing the feelings of being tossed to the side. May I encourage you…just as God has encouraged me; to draw closer to Him and seek a love that will never let go? One thing I can say; is that once you choose to do this; you will experience a love that can fill every empty chamber of the heart…a love that will truly bring peace and a renewed hope back into your life. Have a great day with God…and always know how much He truly longs to love and care for you! Many blessings on your day! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
