Hello everyone...well, another day has begun! Yesterday is behind us...and now we reach forth, to something brand new...which should give us the hope we need to keep pressing on.
This morning...I woke up a little early. In fact...I had a rougher night of rest, as the pain in my foot has been aggravated a little, by the therapy I'm doing. I guess the saying goes..."No pain, no gain."
Anyways...I finally decided to get up and sit in the living room and read my Bible. It seemed as if instantly...God led me to a couple verses in Romans 8:31-32, which reads... "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"
What a great reminder this verse was to me this morning...as God began to speak to my spirit. He was truly helping me to look beyond the pain...to see that He would always be there for me. Just think...if God was willing to give up His only Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for our sins...then why would He stop there?
I think sometimes...we become so caught up in what is happening around us; that the light of hope we once experienced becomes darkened by the thoughts that attempt to overpower us at the time. In order that we may experience hope once more...we must leave these darkened moments behind and get into God's word...where His words of truth can set our hearts free, from the bondage that Satan is attempting to keep us in.
Today, I thank God for His words of truth...words that can lift us high above despair and draw us closer to Him, while allowing us to become distant from the problem!
No matter what you may be walking through...and no matter how discouraging it may seem; may I encourage you to lift your eyes up and above these moments...that are attempting to distract you; that you may seek God's holy word...for words of truth that can keep you free...that you too, may once more experience the light of hope; that comes from a loving and powerful God!
Have a great Tuesday...and may God's presence be ever near...no matter what you're walking thru today!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
