Hello everyone! Well it’s a new day and a new beginning…and I praise God for that! As you begin your walk through this brand new day, I’m praying that you will feel God’s presence close by…bringing peace and renewed hope into your day…Amen!
You know…the times we are living in right now, can make us feel as if we have come to a halt or a dead end…and the storm that surrounds us can make that dead end seem even more final. There can even be moments, when we feel as if our hand has slipped out of God’s hand, as we walk aimlessly through the darkness of what surrounds us.
Throughout my life, I have faced many moments like these, which only made me feel in a world of my own…one that made me feel separated from God and life itself. Moments like these can make us feel as if everything has left us for good, even God Himself; but I have continually come to see that God is still holding tightly to me, during these difficult times.
One thing I have learned through it all; is that it’s the circumstance that wants us to believe that God has left our side, which is only a deceptive way of making us feel even more hopeless, than what we felt before. It seems as if Satan works overtime, to not only afflict us; but to also make it seem so real; that before we realize it…other thoughts begin to convey messages that can make us feel alone and abandoned in life.
A few Bible verses that have always been a good reminder to me; that God will never leave my side during the difficult times; is found in Romans 8:38-39…and we read… “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39) neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Maybe moments like these can make us feel as if we are too weak in spirit to hold onto God and keep the grip that we once had with Him; but one thing I know…due to a lifetime of pain and heartache; is that even though I may not always be able to hold tightly to God; He does continue to hold tightly to me. In fact…there was a time in my life, when He definitely was the One who kept my head above the troubled waters, while holding me up and suspending me above a pit of total destruction.
One thing we need to remember today; is that God’s love for us will never compare to any other…for His love is a love that never leaves our side…and it’s a love that refuses to let go of our hand. It doesn’t matter what may come our way…or what may even attempt to separate us from the One we truly need the most; because that love He has for us refuses to be broken…and this perfect love will never allow anything or anyone to stand in the way of what it longs for, which is you and me.
As we face this virus, from one day to the other; moments like these have a way of making us feel, as if we are surrounded by the worst storm ever…and there can even be times when this storm affects our lives, in a way that can cause us to come to what we see as the end of the road; but may I encourage you today, to never give up; because there is a God who longs to hold your hand and walk through these troubling times with you…One who promises to never let go…no matter how bad the storm may seem. Now the question for you is this…are you willing to take hold of the hand of God and let Him help you through these troubling times? One thing I can say from experience; is that no matter what may come your way…He will always be there…holding your hand to the very end.
Have a nice day everyone! Please take care and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers! See ya soon! Many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
