Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! As you walk through this brand new day, I truly pray that no matter what you may be facing right now; that you will come to know in your heart that you are never alone; but that there is One who loves you so much…One who truly longs to help you through the toughest times of life…Amen!!
Each night…before going to bed, I spend some quiet and special moments with God… and one night, as I was getting ready to settle down and rest, I began to say to Him…“No one could ever understand me like you do.” From there, God began to remind me that even though we can share our thoughts with one another; there is no one like Him, who can understand and look into the depth of our being, like He can.
In Job 28:20-23, we read… “Where then does wisdom come from? Where does understanding dwell? (21) It is hidden from the eyes of every living thing, concealed even from the birds in the sky. (22) Destruction and Death say, “Only a rumor of it has reached our ears.” (23) God understands the way to it and he alone knows where it dwells,”
How often do we feel like giving up because we feel that no one could ever understand what we are experiencing at the time? These moments, when people walk away or just don’t understand, can make us feel as though we are all alone in the world, which only makes us want to give up completely on life.
As I spent some very special moments with God the other night; He began to show me that He made our hearts and minds, in a way that could connect us deeply to Him. When we feel as though no one understands…He does; because He made us and understands how every part of our being functions. When a part of our spirit is broken…He is the One who can see where we are broken and what caused this brokenness to take place within us. He not only sees deep within our very being but He knows how to repair the brokenness that no one else seems to understand.
How is it that we make God our last resort, when it comes to needing a friend who can understand the difficult moments that we’re going through? As I was re-reading the verses, from our Bible reading in Job 28, my heart became deeply connected to the end of verse 22, which reads…“Only a rumor of it has reached our ears,” which means that we are only able to understand or comprehend our lives and other people’s situations to a certain degree and Satan seems to know this. He knows that the moments that we feel unloved and uncared for, can also become the moments when we are more prone to give up; but one thing we must remember…even though others may not fully understand what we are going through; there is a God who can reach deep within the very depth of our being and see what is taking place within our lives. When we choose to make God our first resort, rather than our last resort; then we will begin to experience a true love and a heart of understanding; that can only come from a close friend, whose name is Jesus.
Today, I truly pray that you will come to experience this loving God in your day…One who longs so much to be everything for you…One who truly understands the depth of your heart…and even the difficult times you may be facing right now. As we close, may I encourage you to let go of your problem and take hold of Jesus…One, who can be much more for you; then anything you may be facing.
Well…time to begin another new day! I truly pray that your day will be a very special one…truly blessed by God! Take care and I will hope to be with you soon!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
