Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! I sure hope that your day is off to a good start! Well…today is grocery shopping day for me; so I’m starting a little earlier this morning. Lately, I have been trying to do things a little bit different…due to the pain that I have been recently experiencing…so today; I will be trying to store up for a month. Don’t get me wrong…I love to be out and about; but the legs don’t seem to always agree; so for a while, I’ve decided to try things a little different.
As we begin our time together, I have also posted another one of my graphic quotes for you to enjoy today. I thought that since my day was going to be a little different…and maybe even a little busier; then I would also do something different for you too. I just love this graphic quote…and it has been a great reminder to me; that the storms of this life don’t last forever…for a time does come, when the storms pass and lead us into a brand new dawn.
As I was looking through some Bible verses today; God led me to a beautiful verse of hope, in Luke 1:78, which reads… “A new day will dawn on us from above because our God is loving and merciful.”
We must remember that the One who died…out of so much love for us…didn’t ascend into heaven to forget us or abandon us; but through verses such as these…He promises a new dawn…a time when everything can be made new.
When I get up each morning; the first thing that comes to my thoughts, as I look out the window; is that this is truly a brand new dawn…and even though the trees appear to look the same and everything around me does to…the day is different…and why? Because it’s not the landscape that has changed, but rather, its life’s experiences that change. In other words…we have the greatest opportunity, to experience something brand new. Maybe yesterday failed us; but as we awake to another new dawn…new possibilities stand before us. In a similar way…the storms of circumstance that we go through, can make us feel as if the storm will never come to an end; but just as a rainy day gives way for the sun to shine again…so to, will the storms of this life.
The thing I’m thinking of today; is that we need to quit allowing ourselves to become caught up in the storm…because when we follow after the storms of circumstance; then there is a greater chance of believing what it conveys to us, which only weakens us in spirit.
Maybe we are struggling to see a new dawn; but I know One who stands on the other side of the storm…One who is already experiencing the sunshine of a new dawn that He has in store…just for us; and if we are ever going to experience what’s on the other side of the storm; then we must continue to press on, until God walks us through the darkness of the storm, into a time of new beginnings…moments when the sun does shine again…praise Him!!
Well…I don’t know about you; but I have been encouraged, to keep pressing on…and I know that these thoughts will uplift me and keep me closer to God, while walking through the storms within my own life.
I truly pray that you will come to see the hope that God is offering you today…and that you will have a very special day! Take good care and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow!
Many…many blessings on your Wednesday!
